Ways to play

Modes

  • Solo vs bots

1 to 3 bots at Gentle, Skilled or Ruthless. The dice are the same at every level; only the bots' play changes.

  • Live rooms

2 to 4 players, one board, a turn clock. Once two humans join, bots fill the empty seats.

  • Daily race

One seeded race a day: the same dice for everyone, three Skilled bots, your finish on the board.

  • Classic, Quick, Prison

Three rulesets: the classic race, a shorter Quick variant, and Prison, where captured pawns must be freed.

How to play

How Ludo plays

  1. 1

Pick a ruleset and your opponents: bots, or a room for friends.

  2. 2

Roll on your turn. A six leaves the yard; land on a rival to send it home.

  3. 3

Bring all four pawns to the centre first to win.

The rules in short

Ludo is a race for two to four players. Each player has four pawns in a yard and shares the die. Roll a six to move a pawn out of the yard; then move pawns clockwise around the board by the number rolled. Landing exactly on an opponent's pawn captures it and sends it back to its yard. Pawns finish by entering their own coloured home column and reaching the centre on an exact roll; the first player to bring all four home wins. Classic follows those rules, Quick shortens the race, and Prison adds a rule where captured pawns must be freed before they can move again. Online, the server rolls every die, so solo bots and live rooms play with the same dice; the 3D tabletop shows the physics roll.

Signature features

What makes Ludo different

  • 3D tabletop, real dice physics

The server seeds every roll; the board shows it tumble.

  • Your face on the board

Your Face Builder face rides on your pawns in every room.

  • Bots fill the seats

Rooms start with two humans; empty seats get bots so nobody waits.
